ABOUT ME

HELLO! My name is Natalie Michael. I'm so happy you're here! I'm a licensed esthetician and Face Reality Certified Acne Specialist, and I've been practicing since 2021. My passion for acne began in 2021 when my own skin decided to flare uncontrollably. I have struggled with breakouts since middle school but nothing as inflamed and chronic as this. Back in 2019 I went on a mission trip to Papua New Guinea where I got sick and developed a full body rash.. When I got back to the States my dermatologist treated me for the rash but as soon as it was gone, acne began to pop up everywhere; only this time it was so deep that it hurt to lay my head on my pillow, smiling was painful, and I would wake up in blood some days. My internal state was screaming and my face was swollen with inflammation. This is when I started seeing an acne specialist in my hometown. She was able to clear my acne in about 3 months and my life was changed! I knew this was the kind of thing I wanted to give other people-- clear skin when everything feels hopeless.

Because of this personal experience I LOVE working with acne. I would do it for free if I could because I love it that much. This is my 5th year in business so as often as I work with acne prone skin I have also developed a clientele of age management, those who struggle with very sensitive skin, and those who just love to take care of their skin through routine facials and corrective treatments!

My philosophy here at Kalōn is becoming a better you, starting with your skin. Coming in for routine treatments paired with the right skincare at home will give you the best results long term. We want you to leave inspired to care for the rest of your body. Go get your labs tested, have the pilates membership, buy organic, cut out habits that aren't serving you and replace them with the ones you picture for your ideal life, (whatever it is) and become the healthiest you!

What Makes Me Different?

There are a lot of aestheticians out there who got into this field for the vibes and to have a cute little pink collar job (and that's fine!) But I have the personal experience behind my name. 10+ years of struggling with acne through different seasons of life. Walking through years of food allergies, hormonal imbalances, gut issues, PCOS, skin rashes, unexplainable dermatitis, sensitive/reactive skin, chronic acne, heavy metal and mold toxicity that ALL lead back to the skin.

You could go to the aesthetician who never breaks out and she might be able to help you with your acne. OR you could go to the person who has first hand experience and has made it their life mission to clear their own acne!

Beyond the realm of acne, however, I genuinely care about each of you that walks through my door. I love being your cheerleader and praying for you. I go to bed thinking about your skin and wondering how I could better serve you. I love that I get to be a part of calming your nervous system and coaching you into a better you in the times that you need it. I love you & thank you to all that choose me to be a part of your story.

MY SKIN

The whole reason I became an aesthetician was because I have struggled so heavily with my skin. My life was changed by seeing an aesthetician who specialized in acne so I quickly decided I wanted to do the same for others!

What is Kalōn?

Kalōn is Greek in origin and essentially means "the ideal of physical and moral beauty".

Essentially- "YOU ARE MORE THAN YOUR SKIN"

Before I even knew what this word meant I had a feeling in my gut that this would be my business name. It just so happened that this word also embodies exactly what I stand for! I might care about beauty and skin but at the end of the day my mission is to meet people exactly where they are and be a part of seeing them grow into the person they were made to be.

So many of us don’t listen to our bodies until our skin starts showing signs of trouble. That’s why here at Kalōn we believe in supporting you as a whole and treating the skin from a full body approach as much as we can. Healthy rhythms, habits and disciplines will naturally result in radiant skin. (Along with the right treatments and skincare 😉)

WIFE

I recently got married to the love of my life and sweetest supporter in September of 2025 and I cant recommend marriage enough! I thank God every day for giving me a man who is truly what I needed.

WORSHIP LEADER

Beyond being an aesthetician my #1 passion in life has always been music/worship leading. The way we experience God through song is so special and when we minister to His heart first we also come alive.

RUNNER

Back in highschool I suffered multiple brain injuries that took me out of sports completely, so the last few years I have slowly been working my way back into exercise. God spoke to me 2 years ago and said "Start training.” He told me that as I moved my body in the physical he would move for me in the spiritual and be breaking off old ways, comfortable patterns and cycles I didn’t know how to break spiritually, emotionally & mentally. He told me that this also related to business and I can fully attest to how it has helped me grow in this career as well as the unseen areas I didn’t know how to tap into. This year I plan to run a half marathon and eventually maybe a full! For now we are focusing on moving every day.
